This policy explains what personal information Startdoms collects when you use https://startdoms.com, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it. We are the data controller for that information.

Information we collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. If you use the contact form or email us, that means:

  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number, if you provide one;
  • whatever you tell us in your message.

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking services, and it does not build a profile of you.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss and deliver our workshops, programmes and events. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to someone who has contacted us about our services. Where you ask to be kept informed about future events, our basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We will not sell your information, and we will not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

The contact form is delivered by a third-party form-relay provider, which processes your submission on our behalf in order to pass it to us by email. We do not otherwise share your information with third parties, unless we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and to maintain a record of our dealings with you, and then delete it. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use local storage to track you. Our typefaces are served from our own server rather than a third-party font service, and the site embeds no video players, social media widgets or other third-party content. Viewing these pages makes no request to any server other than ours.

Where your information is held

Your information is held on our email and form-relay providers' systems. Where a provider stores data outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict how we use it;
  • object to our using it on the basis of legitimate interests;
  • ask us to transfer it to you or another provider;
  • withdraw consent, where we rely on consent.
