Can you put a price on the development of your vague idea into a business? This is the value of the program. As for the price, we restricted it to £500 for the teaching material. If you want to take advantage of mentorship, it costs £50 per session. You can use as much or as little as you want.
We do not offer investment, so you do not have to give out equity or waste your SEIS.
No. You should not have a business plan. We will just ask you about a brief description of your business idea and then we will explore it a bit further over skype. However, by Demo Day we will make certain that you have a business plan at hand!
We are looking for startups that can scale up fast and they can reach an international audience quickly. This is why we insist that there should be an innovative element in their business model. Saying that, we are happy to receive applications from all startups and consider them for the accelerator.
Of course! In fact, we insist on developing your product during this process. After all, the product will be taking into consideration the continuous feedback that will be coming in through customer development. Bear in mind, though, that one of the main ideas behind the acceleration process is to learn how to set up and maintain a successful business. So focussing solely on the product is not a viable option and will be discouraged.
We will help the startups who come from abroad to set up their company in the UK. In this case, contact us to discuss further about the details.
There is no deadline. We accept applications all year round.
Yes. The program will help you further your knowledge of your startup and focus on accelerating its growth.
No. However, if you want to receive investment or grants, you should set up a UK company. Even if you are a foreigner, you can easily setup your company in the UK as long as you have residency status. One of our accountants will be happy to help you and give you more information.
